This sunday afternoon
drawings and xylographies display, 2009, 2013
with soundtrack made by Rabih Gebeile
The exhibition device presents, in a conversation, a series of charcoal drawings of forests and a series of woodcuts of houses. It places visitors in a passageway that forces them to choose to see successively one or the other of the two sets. This void suggests a temporal disruption that is necessary for the transformation of the represented elements.
